Cup Chase
Cup Chase is a mobile shell game developed and published by Bao Huynh ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information is collected when you use the app, how it is used, and your rights.
We do not operate servers of our own, and we never collect or store your personal data. Most of what the app saves stays on your device. Two things do leave it: anonymous gameplay statistics sent to Google Analytics, and — if you are signed in to Game Center — your scores and achievement progress sent to Apple. Both are described below.
Cup Chase stores your progress and preferences locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data is never transmitted to us.

Separately, the app sends the following off your device. None of it identifies you personally, and none of it reaches a server we control.

We do not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other personal information. No account or sign-in is required to play.
The app uses third-party SDKs that may collect data independently under their own privacy policies. We have no control over data practices of these third parties.
Google AdMob
Cup Chase displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID on Android or IDFA on iOS), IP address, and usage data to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance.
On iOS, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before AdMob can access your IDFA. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Google Analytics for Firebase
Cup Chase uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played — how many people open it, how far they get, and where they stop. The events it sends are listed in the table above.
Google assigns a random app-instance identifier to your installation, and also receives your device model, operating system version, and IP address, from which it derives an approximate country-level location. Where you have allowed tracking on iOS, Google Analytics may also use your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA). Deleting the app removes the app-instance identifier; reinstalling generates a new one.

Meta App Events
Cup Chase uses the Meta SDK to measure app installs, app launches, and advertising performance. Meta may receive device information, app activity, IP address, and, when you allow tracking on iOS, the device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
If you decline Apple's ATT prompt, Cup Chase does not allow the Meta SDK to access your IDFA. Meta may still receive limited app-event and device data for aggregated measurement.

Apple Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, Cup Chase submits your best level and your achievement progress to Apple so they can appear on the leaderboards. This is handled entirely by Apple under your Game Center account; we never see your Game Center identity or your friends.
Signing out of Game Center in Settings → Game Center stops this. Scores already on a leaderboard can be removed by contacting us at the address below.

Apple In-App Purchases
Optional in-app purchases (revive packs, Remove Quick Breaks) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs any data collected during the transaction.

On iOS 14.5 and later, we ask for your permission before allowing AdMob, Meta App Events, or Google Analytics to use your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for personalized advertising and advertising measurement. The ATT prompt appears the first time you open the app.
You can update your tracking preference at any time: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Cup Chase.
Cup Chase is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Ad content is configured at a PG level in compliance with Google's family policies.
All data stored by Cup Chase (best level, revives, preferences) is saved locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the app. We have no ability to delete data from your device remotely.
Gameplay statistics already sent to Google Analytics are retained by Google under its own retention schedule and are not deleted by uninstalling the app. Because they are tied to a random app-instance identifier rather than to you, we cannot look up or delete the events belonging to a particular person.
For data collected by Google, Meta, or Apple, please refer to their respective privacy policies and opt-out tools.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal data under laws such as the GDPR (European Union) or CCPA (California). Because Cup Chase does not collect personal data on its own servers, most of these rights apply to Google, Meta, and Apple directly.
